40 Weeks 1 Day...and No Baby

My due date has come and gone and still we wait...

This heat is crazy! I'm hoping to go into labor tonight for a few reasons: 1) I'm ready to meet this little munchkin and 2) I am not sure I can handle the 47 degrees tomorrow is supposed to be (with humidity) with no AC!

38 Weeks & 2 Days, Pool Fun and Goodbyes

I said I would post a picture a few weeks ago of my "growth", so here it is. I am 38 weeks and 2 days prego, and very ready to meet Baby Toews #2. The bags are all packed, car seat is in the car and now we wait...

With the weather being so lovely lately, we have been able to spend a lot of time outside. We bought a pool for Ali last summer and she LOVES it! The other day (which happened to be overcast and gross), I had to go into the backyard to check something. I left the door open from the house and came around the corner to find Natalie fully clothed in her pool (which was filled with water from the rain)! The really funny part is I did the same thing in the bathtub when I was her age! I wish I would have gotten a picture. But here is a pic of Ali enjoying her pool. She moved her chair in there so she would have somewhere to relax! :)

And Goodbyes...Nate's Uncle's Mom, who has been part of Nate's family for his entire life, went to be with Jesus this morning. She was an amazing woman and will be truly missed. Adina, thank you for all the memories, prayers for us and the blessing you have been to us. We will miss you.

CONGRATULATIONS...

...to our friends Jon and Bonnie on the arrival of their daughter, Callie Lauryn on June 30. We were able to go to the hospital and visit them and Callie is precious! We are so excited for you guys and look forward to many play dates.

On a different note, here is a video of Ali showing off her singing skills for me! She loves to sing and is usually very willing to show off! I love the way her tone and inflection change when she is "singing". Enjoy.

And in pregnancy updates, I am now 36 1/2 weeks prego. So basically as of next week, I could have this baby at any time. I will take a pic in the next take or 2 to give you all an update on my size.
