Yesterday Nathan and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary! Its hard to believe that 5 years have passed! It has been the most incredible 5 years! And I am so blessed to be married to such an incredible man! I love him more today than the day I said "I do". And it is amazing to look back at the journey God has taken us on these 5 years and where He is taking us!
We were able to go away which was really nice! Friday afternoon my parents took Natalie and Nate and I headed into Vancouver to the Pan Pacific! We spent our wedding night there and have gone back every year except last (due to the birth of Natalie). So, its been really special! We were able to go out for dinner to an AMAZING restaurant, the Shore Club. Its ritzy and very classy! The atmosphere and food are incredible! It will be a little bit of a pricier night, but I highly recommend this restaurant! (And if you do go, probably best to share a meal! Nate and I shared a 23 oz steak!) Saturday morning Nate sent me for a manicure in the spa in the hotel! It was wonderful to be pampered! I realized as I was getting my nails done that the last time I had a manicure was for my wedding day! Then for lunch we headed to another great restaurant, the Italian Kitchen.
On a completely different note, I was able to hear the baby's heartbeat on Friday! That is one of the most incredible sounds! It definitely helped make this pregnancy a little more real, since I really have no outward appearance of it! I can feel the uterus and that is about all.

That's amazing about the baby's heartbeat! Yay! I can't wait to go for the 19 week scan! I am soo excited! So you're not showing much at all?
I wasn't until I hit 13 weeks, now my tummy is really starting to grow!!!!! Sooo not used to having a tummy that's for sure :P Love u!
Happy Anniversary guys! Its so great that you have made an effort to return to your "special spot" each year, and what a great place to go!! Sounds like it was a nice getaway--- you deserve it!

Hey-ya! Just linked to you through Bonnie's blog. Congrats on your 5yr mark. I just scrolled and saw your "natalie's year in pictures" post and it's so amazing what happens in a year! I can't wait to watch Mae through each of those stages. We missed you at care group on sunday, and I'm so sorry we couldn't help move!! Bad flu bug got us.
sorry for the late congrats on your five year anniversary! John and I are celebrating ours in June and we hope we can get away for a least one night! would be the first time leaving the girls for more then a couple of hours so i will see if i can do it!!
